Hi everyone!

Just received my Tobii Eye Tracker 5 and it's a fantastic device with crazy potential.
Nevertheless I ran into some issues which seem to be mainly related to the fact that it's not yet natively supported in DCS.

  1. I had to copy paste some .dll into the game folders in order to make it run.
  2. Then I ran into a known issue that prevents the user to use the mouse in freelook while the device is paused. I never had this issue with Track IR.

After getting in touch with Tobii's support I've found out that they are willing to fix the issue but are mainly limited by the lack of technical cooperation from ED. It might be wrong but that's what I understood.

You guys are doing a fantastic job with this simulator but I really think you should consider to support this device natively as it
's directly aimed at your product and user base.

I, and many other Tobii users, can only agree with @Kah0tika. Please ED, start talkng to the Tobii devs and get this integrated into DCS.  Very few games now have to use GameHub to make this work.

Totally agree with both @Kah0tika and @imacken.

Also add the ability to freeze the tracking without recentering the view, just like in TrackIR, and the SmartView feature so that wherever you're looking becomes front. Example, like in TrackIR, if you look (virtual head) 90 degrees to the left at a window, for instance, you can just move your head forward in that direction to move your virtual head closer to the window.

In Tobii Eye Tracker 5, if you did this, it would still move you forward to the general forward of your cockpit as though you were looking forward.
