The SDK are the plugins located at the eagle wiki here at the bottom: http://en.wiki.eagle.ru/wiki/All_about_land

 

You export your land by using the MaxSuperficial plugin. select all the land and helpers/ dummys. Then go under the Surface category and click export.

now where to put this file and what name must be :)

to see my new terrain in game :)))

save the .lsa2 file here: C:\Program Files\Eagle Dynamics\Ka-50\Bazar\Terrain\Surface

 

place your textures in the temptextures or in .cdds archives

i try it but still have old default map for BS DCS ???

something i do wrong ???

i didnt see my map ???

 

the mission editor will still have the old map. did you try actually flying it?

Error in AssembleScenes.exe

 

"This application has failed to start because edCore.dll was not found. Re-installing the application may fix this problem."

 

OMG noob :) copy the AssembleScenes.exe to the bin/stable directory :lol:

You need to change the default land.lsa2 by your new land.

And the land_map_L0.sup and land_map_L2.sup.

land.lsa2 is for terrain, and .sup are for Abris map.

The squares of 10x10 km in .max files (for .ls2 and .sup) need to be in the same position.

The Mesh and the Dummy are linked...

I don't know why.

I think plugin could be developed to export with only the Mesh.

 

I'm naming the 16 objects like "L0_Mesh_01" and "L0_Dummy_01".

And they are in two 3dsmax Layers: "Mesh" and "Dummy".

I love layers ;-)

 

The name of .max files are with my UTM coordinates (x 10000 km):

"mycity_021-411_024-414.max"

3dsmax crash if you use very much objects in the same scene.

 

The Abris + F10 map are in other .max

how to open files from game ???

example : .sup files , .lsa2 files , .cdds files , .lm files , .rn files , ... etc

i can open any files with 3dsmax or i cant open noting from game ???

can i import model mi17nemet from FSX in 3dsmax and then put it in BS DCS?

1. Use ED plugin MaxSuperficial

2. 3. Open/Load materials.lma.lua file

 

4. Use for import .SUP files

5. Use for import .LSA2 files

6. Use for import .LM files

 

Use Modman CDDS explorer for .CDDS files view or/and extraxt BMP/TGA files

 

Nemeth Design Mi-17 MDL file is in FS2004 format, ModelConvertX not usable, but the 3D Ripper DX 1.7 good application for U :)

I have a problem with the files that are in .3dr (from 3D Ripper) or in .3ds format. Im trying to import them into Max but i always get this error : "improper file format".120519.gif I used different .3ds and .3dr files and i cant understand why i get this error everytime i try to import a model. 801936.gif

i done it :)))

and i export models from 3dsmax in .lm :)

but how to put this new models in game ??? where to copy ???
