I have a video called Tu-160 Special Correspondent.White Swan

 

Its in russian and its about the TU-160 and looks really good, judging by the video, although I dont understand a word they are saying :(

 

If I allow some people to download it from my server could a russian speaking person add English subtitles to it if possible so that I can watch it in english ?

 

I will give them access to a server to download and then re-upload the file with subtitles.

 

If anyone can do that please post in the thread or PM me, the finished product will be available for the rest of the forums to download if someone can add English subtitles to the original russian version.

I've just finished reading the Tupolev Tu-160 Blackjack-The Russian Answer to the B-1. White Swan is incredible airplane. Bigger, faster and with grater range then B-1. Some very, very interesting facts in that book. I wrote a book review but it is in Serbian language. It will soon be published on our =4c= web site.

Bumfire, I can help you with that, I mean, I can translate all speech and narration and send you a .txt or a .doc file of it cause I have no experience with using any subtitle editors...

 

Plus, I'd like to see that video too :)

Ok I can let you have the video if you can do the subs/translation, I can then add the translation to the video myself so that it will have subs.

I have no idea what video you have... This one is called the same as yours "Tu-160 Special Correspondent.White Swan" , so it's a big chance that this is the same one. There is nothing to translate...

Yea, it looks like its the same one, but I am a little confused when you say their is nothing to translate ?

 

I see absolutely no english on that page, I even disabled NOSCRIPT which is a firefox plugin and still dont see anything in english.

 

But regardless, if anyone wants to send me a english textfile of what is said in the video then i will make subs out of them, if not then its no big deal.

Ukraine destroying one White Swan is well described in Yefim's book.

 

I couldn't believe when I was reading that! From what little I understand Russian, it looks like this movie is talking about that event.
