It works this way in real life too. Sun up early up high. You should try flying in the high latitudes. I have seen the sunrise in the north at midnight 3 1
VR Flight Guy in PJ Pants Posted November 2, 2024 Author Posted November 2, 2024 I think this may also be the altitude. Thanks. I Fly, Therefore I Am. One cannot go around not saying "Thank you" every time these days, can't you? YouTube: https://www.youtube.com/channel/UCc9BDi-STaqgWsjNiHbW0fA
Fresh Posted December 8, 2024 Posted December 8, 2024 Hi, just to avoid another source of frustration, the maps are flat, there is no curvature etc. of the earth. On large maps you might think the sun rises earlier for a point on the east compared to a point to the west, but the sunrise is the same everywhere. Also, arctic winter or summer happens for the whole map (e.g. Kola map), even if you are south of the arctic circle ~66ºN. (Or north of the Antarctic circle ~66ºS). I have to do some testing to see if the center of the map is the reference point... 1 1
