Gilligan Posted November 2, 2024 Posted November 2, 2024 (edited) Mission 4 one of the audio lines for the airfield departure does not play. It shows the text on screen but no audio. I was on the correct channel. Tested 3x. Same every time. Also on mission 4, not an audio bug but unless I put extra fuel tanks on the rest of the flight (2 wing tanks each) they would run out of fuel and eject right after getting near to STPT 3. Even with the bags, my one surviving wingman had to eject after mission complete (I sent him to the tanker when he said he was bingo but didn't make it). Mission 5 the audio line when your player character asks 2 if he is saddled and he responds with something to the effect of "Have visual contact, in formation in two minutes" plays twice, maybe a minute or 2 apart. Solution SorelRo Posted November 5, 2024 Solution Posted November 5, 2024 Thanks for letting me know of these bugs. Missions were adjusted and sent to ED. They will make it in the next update. Also, wingmen should not run out fuel anymore. I did some background magic. 1

Mission 6 possible trigger bug: Spoiler Mission 6, what triggers the SA10? Played the mission 3 times, it did not trigger the 2nd time and was unable to complete the mission. 1st and 3rd runs through it triggered fine and was able to complete.
SorelRo Posted November 5, 2024 Posted November 5, 2024 Thanks. The two escort groups being dead, in the test runs, we never had problems with this, none of the testers reported it. I'm assuming that one got away somehow, and the subsequent flags didn't fire. I'll try to put in a failsafe that's plausible enough. 2

Hey man, if I could control the AI, or if the AI would do 20% of what they would be asked to do, without using black magic, i'd be putting 2 campaigns out every month But honesty, from how many hours it takes to build a mission, between 30 and 40 hours of work, 80% of that is AI. 2

LOL yeah no sweat man. Campaign is blast so far. The AI in DCS never ceases to amaze me, and usually not in a good way. They probably just ran out of crayons to snack on. 2

During the F15E's cas role, there's a point where some text appears with "Rife, Rifle..." but the ATC take off approval audio plays. The Rifle audio plays a few minutes later with no text on screen and is followed again by the same ATC take off approval.

I fixed it and i'll send it away. Thanks for catching it. 1
