Hello - I'm excited to use the Streamdeck, but am unable to download the DCS Interface File (Streamdeck Plug-In) off the Github page.  Whenever I go to download the file, my computer just keeps on making a copy of it with the internet explorer icon next to it - never really able to download anything?  Any suggestions?   Thanks

If it's making copies, that means you already have a version in the download folder, doesn't it? Although, with that icon, that makes me think you're accidentally downloading the entire page, not just the file.

Top right, green button that says "<> Code", click on that, choose the last option, "Download ZIP", and that should do it. Or, you can just just click directly on this link to it. 🙂

I'm not updating this anymore. It's safe to assume I have all the stuff, and the stuff for the stuff too. 🙂

Despayre - Thanks, was able to download the file.  Unfortunately, when I unzip it, I just get a file with a bunch of folders: .gitub, Images, Releases, Sources, Tools, then about 7 smaller individual files.  I cannot find an executable file to download.  I thought it might be automatically downloaded based on the youtube videos, but no go.

As it stands now, I can use the streamdeck just for the basic DCS settings, none of the individual profiles can be accessed and when I try to use them onto my streamdeck XL, I just get some icons, mainly question marks ? where individual buttons should be. specific to each module. Still, making progress. If you have any ideas, please let me know.

Thanks Wostg - I'll give it a try.    By the way, that is a cool photo.

Unfortunately, same thing occurs, file can be downloaded, but it will not automatically send the contents to the appropriate places.  I cannot find an executable file that will automatically do this.  I may go on github and contact the developer.  Don't know why this is happening as others have had no problem.

Looks like the file may be downloading into my local appdata file.  Streamdeck should get this file as a new .lua, and show up on the Streamdeck commands area, but no go.  Maybe just have to move on.

Airwolf stays winning

That is super weird. Try reinstalling the streamdeck software, or an older version if you can find one? Can you create a steamdeck profile backup file and then double click that?

I can think of nothing heavier than an airplane
I can think of no greater conglomerate of steel and metal
I can think of nothing less likely to fly

Wostg - Went online to find a solution from another angle.  Deleted all Streamdeck files, then did an uninstall of Elgato everything.  Re-loaded.  No go.  Then went into my privacy settings to allow streamdeck to be an exclusion - no luck installing the lua file.  Don't know why, but the streamdeck is just not getting the .lua file.  Worked well about 4 years ago when I first used it.  Seems others are having the similar issues, random like.  No worries though, I'll just use the streamdeck as an expensive extra controller.  Thanks for your assistance.  Good to see some are enjoying it.

Just thought about your comment, contacted Elgato/Streamdeck and they sent me an older version from a few years ago - I'll back up my files and give it try tonight.
