KungFu Posted November 28, 2024 Posted November 28, 2024 This is very annoying and it happens on all aircraft. Had the issue on two different PCs and two different VR headsets. Someone recommended LALT C. This only works momentarily and the white dot of immersion killer comes back. Demonstration of issue in video: Win 11 Professional, I9-14700K, 64GB DDR5, 4090, 2x 980 PRO PCIe 4.0 NVMe , 2x VKB Gunfighter mk III, MCG Ultimate, SCG, Orion 2 Throttle, Thrustmaster TPR pedals, Pimax Crystal
Tomcat388th Posted November 28, 2024 Posted November 28, 2024 I fly VR on the main settings dcs tab and vr I do not have confine curser to game window checked on either screen. Porkbrain Posted November 28, 2024 Posted November 28, 2024 I use only VR and have used both cursor confined to window, and also not confined, with no problem. The only time that a white dot remains rather than the yellow cross, which always disappears by itself, is if I have the default kneeboard page displayed and move the white dot off the kneeboard into the cockpit view. As soon as I close the kneeboard then the white dot disappears. Perhaps the SRS window that you have open could be causing it to remain on screen?

SRS is pretty darn common so I doubt it, but I'll disable it and try it out Win 11 Professional, I9-14700K, 64GB DDR5, 4090, 2x 980 PRO PCIe 4.0 NVMe , 2x VKB Gunfighter mk III, MCG Ultimate, SCG, Orion 2 Throttle, Thrustmaster TPR pedals, Pimax Crystal

Well crap, the SRS overlay is causing this...good call. What I don't understand is that SRS is used so much, I'm surprised this hasn't been reported like .... every day. But, the fact that DCS cannot properly handle something like this still means it's a DCS issue. 1 Win 11 Professional, I9-14700K, 64GB DDR5, 4090, 2x 980 PRO PCIe 4.0 NVMe , 2x VKB Gunfighter mk III, MCG Ultimate, SCG, Orion 2 Throttle, Thrustmaster TPR pedals, Pimax Crystal
