Mission #6 in Su27 Campaign LOMAC

Hi guy,

 

I tried this mission several times but never success. The problem that Su-34s fires Kh-31s never hit the ship (Oliver Perry?) though all F-16 has been shot down, ofcourse later. It seems 2 Su-30s SEAD came late also, when all Kh-31s has fired. How can i pass this mission?

It is the last mission in the Campaign, so it doesn't actually matter if you dont get a success since there isn't a 7th mission.

 

Sometimes missions don't quite work the way that the Mission Designer intended. Sometimes that is because of patches. Maybe this mission works OK in Lockon v1.00 but not when patched to v1.02, that sort of thing often happens.

 

My advice is not to worry about it, if you killed all the F-16 before they could kill any of the aircraft you are supposed to protect, then you have done what you are supposed to do. If the AI aircraft don't get the Perry ship, then that is their fault not yours!

 

I just flew that mission and the friendly AI seemed to hit the perry and damage it, at least there was some flames and smoke, so I went in and gave it a good load of cannon fire (even though the Su-27 isn't really a ground attack bird) and a little later, it sank. So you could always try that.............
