Have tried my usual Jtac training mission with the new weather system today and love the weather, how ever now when ever asking for copy remarks from Jtac nothing goes through so cannot obtain permission/laser on nor 9 line readback. Was working fine on the previous version.
Have tried it a few times with different settings but still not working.
Attaching mission
I have no mods installed either

OK so created a new mission file using the latest version, seems to work as there is now a Jtac reply with the word fog included.
Did it in the summer and worked fine. But when switched the mission to a winter scene again there was no responce beyond Ready to copy remarks

Further testing today, I have noticed that it does not work when in manual fog mode. Semi works with Fog Auto mode. But with manual there is absolutely no reply beyond copy remarks.
I check the call signs were ok and there is no other planes in air, just set up a basic Jtac scenario

But the messaging from Jtac suddenly becomes out of order as you will see from tracks attached

I agree, I've just spent a few hours trying to understand why JTAC doesn't work (Reaper as Jtac in my case), I can talk to the JTAC but cannot go beyond "copy remarks".

my mission as the new fog enabled.

Ok back from tests, I disabled the new fog and now the JTAC can go trough all the communications and is working fine.

New fog is the problem.

Managed to get it working with the fog, seems the Jtac Reaper was not close enough so the fog is obviously having the desired effect. Rejigged the call signs and frequencies and seems to be working fine now.

Feel free to test with this mission here to see if it works for you

Wasnt the laser in this scenerio, the Jtac was marking with smoke. Seems when there is fog over the target it stops most copy remarks options. You have to tweak the settings to get it to work.
Sometimes frustrating when it gives all the details, and then wont go beyond that point

Had the same issue earlier today. I'm working on a mission that starts with fog which slowly burns off. Taking off from ground start and allowing fog to disburse before I contacted the AFAC = no issues. Same mission but in an 'air start' closer to the target (so there was still fog) = cant get past 'ready for remarks'. Tried it in A-10c2, Harrier, F-5E and F-18 same thing. Nothing after remarks but would still get told to abort if I just dropped a bomb anyway. Turning off fog or letting it burn off (with a key point) = no issues with the AFAC. Thought I had done something wrong with the mission and wasted about 90 minutes until I worked out it was the fog 😞

I started to use Vaicom Pro with Voice attack, which oddly lets me do the requests out of the normal order needed to get permission/remarks. Seems to toggle the Jtac into working so I suspect its a condition statement needed for it to work. Have been testing all afternoon with different mission types using Jtac and with various fog settings. Definitely the closer to the enemy the Reaper is the better it finds them. Although just had an interesting scenario where it dropped smoke on the deck which was hovering mid air about 100 feet above the area.

Must be one of those new weapons advancements lol
