Cockpit reflections are weird. Is there a way to turn it off?

In the DCS settings there's a dedicated slider for that, 0-1, in 5% increments.

Indeed. But this is a particular solution - flying a few modules I don't want to play with graphics settings with each module. For now, it works, but I'll wait for another way or improvements from the dev side.
