Duracell65 Posted December 10 Posted December 10 I am experiencing frame stutter for all missions in the Operation Cerberus North Campaign, I have completed the first 4 missions and all of them have had this issue, the stuttering is worse at the airfield but also occurs in flight when there is very little detail to see. I used to see this issue on my old rig but have not seen it since updating it about 4 months ago. What is also odd is the it only seems to occur in this Campaign specifically. Other Campaigns e.g. Both Raven One Campaigns I get consistently over 100 fps, with Operation Cerberus North my fps maxes out at around 60 with my 3090 GPU running at only 60% capacity. Stuttering is worst around airfields and turning down visibility and details does not seem to have an effect. Attached are my system details and the dcs.log file.dcs.log DxDiag.txt
sleighzy Posted December 11 Posted December 11 I honestly can't speak to this campaign and any specific issues within it, e.g. heavy amounts of scripting. I do however note your version of DCS is about 7 patches behind. Recommend upgrading as there have been performance improvements since then. Remove your Saved Games\DCS\fxo and metashaders2 folders after upgrading. You could also look at upgrading your GPU driver. I dropped your log into the DCS log analyzer which had some tuning advice: Turn off SSLR. Turn off SSAO. Disable civil traffic. You could drop your preload radius in DCS to 100000 so you're not loading as much of the terrain and textures unnecessarily. Check to make sure you have: Disabled game mode Disabled Hardware GPU scheduling Disabled core isolation Disabled core parking In addition to this you also have Process Lasso running which can cause issues. Have you tried running without this? 1
