ModelViewer2: ERROR EDCORE Can't open file *.edm.ilv from real path fs.

Trying my hand at modding and run into an issue importing the edm model into ModelViewer. I am using Blender 2.83 and the https://github.com/tobi-be/BlenderEdmExporter plugin to export to edm file. I cannot find any info on this error on the net. Does anyone know what this means?
