Does anybody know how I can disable the Jester control wheel during replays? It keeps popping up while recording cinematics. Super excited about the F-4. I never thought of purchasing it until watching so many content creator videos. And man, she flies soooo well.

TID reflection: DDD reflection: DDD/TID have mosaic shaped-reflection. I dont know if real-TID/DDD would be same, but it is annoying me. I'm trying to get rid of it, but could not find any solution. HB_F14_CPT_RIO_L_BREAKERS_08.dds and HB_F14_CPT_RIO_L_BREAKERS_08_Roughmet.dds determine texture/reflection of TID/DDD I tried: 1. adjust TID/DDD texture to pitch black. No luck. Still gives mosaic reflection 2. TID/DDD counter part roughmet to 100% red, No luck. Still gives mosaic reflection 3. TID/DDD counter part roughmet to 100% yellow, Totally remove reflection but this is not what i'm looking for. What i want to do: adjust TID/DDD reflection like Gauges' clean reflection. Like this: Can i get any advice?

I noticed that there is some offsetting of the waypoints (TIR on the HUD), not a bit (20-40 meters maybe) but actually it's quite important. Perhaps it is related to tuning the systems - but in this case I start in the air, the declination is ok (or near ok, QFE is right too, from the Kneeboard). Even though the points are marked correctly in the mission editor, there is quite a significant shift on the HUD (marked by red circle here). Any ideas why the TIR circle does not match the point from the editor?

Hello, pls comment this. So no any opponent for the Corsair? Overall, I wouldn't really like shooting the second Corsair. We can as well talk about Corsair vs. Mirage dogfights, e.g. Generally, it doesn't make sense, but maybe something wasn't said or in this interview they only talk about the work of the ED team and not other developers. So it will be or not?

Hi all, I'm planning on getting a new PC soon, I haven't found any solid guidance on transferring my keybinds from my old PC to my new one the easiest way. Do I have to save each input profile and transfer them over then load them individiually? Or can I simply transfer over my "Config" and "InputUserProfiles" and then not have to load up each profile individually (This i'm hoping for because I'm lazy). Thanks for any help!

Hi, After a long time flying the hornet in game, I tried the F16 and realized that in the HSD one is able to mark and track points there. Also I know that in the A10 one can create markpoints and waypoints from the TSD. I would like to know if it is possible in the hornet to do so or if it´s a missing function or if the hornet doesn´t have the slew and mark function on any of the SA and HSI pages. Thanks!

So I have been doing lots of digging as I am trying to make some accurate missions. First question, does anyone know whats the run down on the VSN A7? I see that some people have had it, but it seems like there is a bunch of politics behind the model. I also see that Hawkeye60 made one, however the cockpit only shows the HUD, and only few liveries. Lastly, there is a Russian one on user files, but its a mess of files. Has anyone gotten that to work? I just figured there would be more people wanting one considering its history and operators. Secondly, it seems like HARMs that used to track radars from VSN planes no longer track right. They will star off like they are going to hit the target, however they either go wide left/right, or overshoot the target. Does anyone have a fix for this? Lastly, the VSN F4E will destroy itself when shooting off Sparrows. Is there a fix for this?

I know it's a lot to ask. But the amount of information you can feed into the system is a lot more than currently used by fw assets. There needs to be a way to feed all that info to the aircraft besides fat fingering for the better part of 30min with the amount of entry errors to boot. data Comms VHF/UHF/FMx2/HF for every unit Waypoints/TGT/coordinating measures/Route's/Maps Laser codes Default modes for systems

I'm sorry if this topic doesn't belong here, mods can let me know and I'll remove it if it doesn't. I just switched from the Steam version to the Standalone version and transferred my modules through the User Profile section just like the following URL shows: https://store.steampowered.com/news/app/223750/view/2873815732584411725 But when I open the DCS Standalone launcher and go to the modules manager, I don't see my modules to install. Do they take time to propagate or is there any additional step I need to do? The modules already show as transferred:

Hi guys, Since the new DC World 2.7 was announced I'm wandering how it is going to be with compatibility with all the missions modules etc... Does anybody know? Or what is the general expectation? Will everything break, specially the older missions/campaigns, or everything will "should" work? It will be great if some dev could answer this one... Thank you.

It's a button on the instrument panel. Wiki defines: I hadn't noticed this button before and now I wonder what it controls. Also hadn't noticed clickable left and right machine gun reload handle. Err ... If mod can move this to I-16 forum that'd be great.

Hello , I am trying to have 2 different curve on My pitch and Roll axis. -So I use Gremlin to duplicate my input , I use the Raw output of the Stick without curve and some dead zone, No modifier and use vJoy to set up output of same controller to be used with modifier, curve and reduced dead zone. Unfortunately for me I cannot work around this problem=> I cannot Exclude the Raw input from firing When The Modifier is Pressed , and it causes Conflict . I understand this is Desire Behavior as we don't want to lose Control of the stick whenever we press different modifier for different things and it is only apply to axis control . What I require is to Exclude a Axis Input whenever Specific Modifier Is pressed . Is there a way to achieve this? Side Note : I know I can set button entries and axis to work with 1 modifier by default and switch between modifier state . But I already have very complicated setup that uses modifiers for different phase of flight and I had to assign multiple variation of keys for every action to avoid conflict and miss fire. My Default is with no Modifier , if I want to make my default state with modifier active, is going to require to rebind every single button in my control setup x5(for State of plane with modifier) x4(for number of Air Craft I have) at this point it is less work to reprogram the game a bit . Example reason I need this input dampening: Tomcat is very unforgiving with its control sensitivity , and I cannot fly with Curve and not rip my wings off . but when I need to Refuel , My X56 just don't have enough accuracy for small movement and it needs curve . If I'm playing Single player it is no issue since I can pause the game and change my curve but I can't pause the game in multiplayer

With the litening pod SOI, slewing around the TGP within the HUD used to update the designator as it was slewed, now the designator only updates when TDC is depressed, is this how it should be? With the ATFLIR installed this still works and the designator updates while slewing, it only appears to be broken with the litening pod?

Hi, from the 2.7.1 Changelog under "Added Raid assessment (RAID)" Situation awareness mode (SAM) and One-look RAID are listed. I can't find info on what these both do / mean. I can box 1LOOK RAID but see no change. I can't find SAM mode. Can somebody please shed some light on the matter? Thank you Sile

Hi, I've had the DCS F5 for a while but always been annoyed by the fact that I can't find a tdc slew axis (apart from the mouse one). I'm assuming this is because the real aircraft uses a hat switch, but with my current hotas it's been quite hard to find any room for this. Just wondering if I missed a binding, or if there's a way to have this as an option. Thanks, sorry if this is in the wrong category, still a bit new to the DCS Forums

I am looking to make a private custom plane mod, and already have the cockpit model and exterior model that I want to use. I have not found a conclusive answer to whether I can only use FC3 aircraft like the F-15 as a base, or if I could theoretically use the F/A-18, even if it would be harder. I want to have the multi mission capabilities something like the F/A-18 provides ideally. I could see the clickable cockpit being a problem, although I would eventually like to make my aircraft clickable, no matter how hard that is. Thanks for any answer in advance. Or say I want to take something like the VSN F-35 and put my cockpit model into it, any ideas on how to go about that? Thanks.

Hi folks, I can‘t seem to fly coordinated in the hind. When I believe to fly coordinated (horizon leveled, ball centered, inertia gun cross in line with fixed cross, bullets flying straight and so on) and I look at the Drift Angle Indicator, it is usually nailed to the left at 40. When I try to manage the drift angle I usually end up turning. I don‘t have those problems in the Hip. There the Drift angle is usually off just a little and easily correctable. Am I missing something or is the Drift Angle Indicator wip?

With all the discussions regarding trimming, why isn't an auto-trim option implemented which removes the necessity to trim? I guess it should be easy to implement. I'd appreciate it...

Hello, not sure where I should ask this so I'm going to write it here. I just watched video about adding A2A missiles to the Hind which is fantastic, but I watched it with horror in my eyes anyway... The behavior of the missiles described there is quite different for behavior of the R60 we already have. It does not have cool down / warm up (or how do you want to call it) periods on other planes, also I do not believe the seeker gimbals at all. So what is going on? Those are different missiles? Or are they going to upgrade the behavior everywhere? Do anybody knows? Than you.

I searched the keybindings for "Gun Mode Button" but that command does not exist. What is the correct keybinding called for this button?

How does one assign a road base or FARP as a landing point in the Mission Editor? So far all my attempts have resulted in the closest base to the starting point being selected as both L1 and L2. EDIT: I know it can be done on the F10 map using markers, but these will be air-starts so that's not available. Thus it needs to be done in the mission editor.
