Troubleshooting TrackIR5 Stutter: Smooth Head Movement Issues Despite High FPS

I’ve been struggling to achieve smooth head movements with TrackIR despite trying everything I can think of. My setup includes a 4070 Ti, an i7-14700K, and a 32" Samsung G8 OLED 4K monitor running at 240Hz. My frame rate in DCS is consistently above 100fps, and everything looks smooth—mouse movements, general visuals, etc.—but as soon as I start moving my head with TrackIR, it’s noticeably less smooth, almost like it’s running at 20-30Hz in comparison. I’ve tried setting my monitor to 120Hz to match, but it hasn’t helped.

I’ve gone through the last four versions of the TrackIR software, adjusted settings everywhere to ensure consistency (120fps and 60fps tests in NVIDIA Control Panel, graphics.lua, and in-game), and experimented with V-Sync on and off. I’ve also tried multiple TrackIR profiles and am currently using Spudknocker’s. However, I don’t think it’s an issue with the profile itself—it seems more like a mismatch with refresh rate or frame rate, or something. I see creators like Growling Sidewinder with buttery smooth head tracking, and I’m trying to achieve that same fluidity. If anyone has insights or tips on where this mismatch might be occurring, I’d greatly appreciate it!

Id be happy to post a video for reference.  Or a screenshot of graphics settings.
