Warthog Paddle Joy_4BTN question

[Sluggish Controls]

Hola All, 

Was planning to assign Joy_4BTN as a Modifier, thinking it would work similarly to a Shift or a CTRL key, ie. :

1. hit and hold Joy_4BTN down to access a secondary set of assignments

2. hold down Joy_4BTN allows me to do my "things" with secondary assignments

2. release Joy_4BTN and instantly revert back primary assignments

So far I have only managed in getting Joy_4BTN to work as a basic ON/OFF switch, is that correct?  

or am I once again missing the obvious within DCS Controls / Modifiers pages?

In the modifier settings, you can choose. Just change it to the opposite.

I'm afraid I did not fully understand what you meant by "change to the opposite", but thanks for trying to help  I'll keep on investigating whether it is doable or not!
