C. Patrick Posted June 25, 2009 Posted June 25, 2009 I've been forced to restart my campaign, due to campaign failure, about 3 times, and I'm only into the 3rd mission. I failed the first campaign by taking a SAM to the belly. The second campaign was lost when my wingman hit me and took me out. The third campaign was lost, when my TrackIr freaked out, and I couldn't continue the mission. I hit the ESC key, then hit QUIT, and was informed that I had failed the campaign. I'm pretty sick of flying the first few missions. If I were to just pick a particular mission, through the Black Shark menu screen, would the game select a following mission based on my performance? Thanks! Saitek X52 Pro TrackIr 5 DcsMax 1.6 Vista Ultimate x64, Intel i7 920, 6GB 3-Channel RAM, 2x EVGA GeForce GTX260 SLI
Panzertard Posted June 25, 2009 Posted June 25, 2009 From what I've seen and learned, I think it will select a mission based on the outcome of the previous mission - as well as some scorebased system. That again depends on the campaign-designers choices, which mission they have attached to those paths. So technically you should be able to "craft a new path" by completing the previous mission with "oposite results". If that helps you get through the campaign I dont know. You may end up as a PoW in Poland for what I know :) The mind is like a parachute. It only works when it's open | The important thing is not to stop questioning
