Realizm Posted December 15, 2024 Posted December 15, 2024 Hello, Per other aircraft, it looks like taxi lights are wide (to see turns, etc), and the landing light is narrow and strong. In the F-4E it is the opposite (landing = wide beam, taxi = narrow beam). Was this accidentally set up backwards? I saw this quite some time ago but figured it would be fixed in coming patches, but as of the last patch the functionality is still the same. 1

I remember this question coming up a few times during dev and the SMEs, and docs, always confirmed it to be correct. But I can doublecheck and fresh up the memories, cheers :) 1
Realizm Posted December 16, 2024 Author Posted December 16, 2024 Much appreciated on the double check. I just figured I'd bring it up as it seemed like all the other aircraft had the opposite behavior, ie. a strong and narrow landing beam (which makes sense), and the taxi beam is wider and not as strong, which allows you to see more stuff on the taxi way. If it is correct, I'd be curious what the engineer's thoughts were on that. Thanks again for an amazing module and for your time. 1
