rocket302 Posted December 23, 2024 Posted December 23, 2024 hi, given DCS has still not fixed the VR hand tracking i am trying to do something different in the meantime. i have mapped the mouse left/right click to buttons, but want when i move the vr controller around and point. I need the green pointer line to show. if it shows i can then just click on mapped button to toggle switches etc. note, i do not want to have to press the controller trigger to show the green pointer line. Why, because i created a VR glove that is really just the controller molded to the glove. so all i need to do is point to the controll and click the mapped button. since the glove does not have a trigger, i need to map this to a button or have it on all the time. thanks
Qcumber Posted December 23, 2024 Posted December 23, 2024 I use the head pointer yellow cross with mouse enabled. I then map the HOTAS buttons to allow mouse centering and buttons to offset the centre left and right using JoyToKey. I have a "finger mouse" strapped to my joystick which I can use to left/right click and scroll without needing my hand to leave the stick. 9800x3d - rtx5080 FE - 64Gb RAM 6000MHz - 2Tb NVME - Quest Pro (previous rift s and Pico 4).
