Scratch Pad 2 versions

There is 2 version of scratch pad one that has a keyboard and works great for the 58 and the 64 and the one without that works on the 47. I have tried the keyboard version and  that one will not work with The Way to place way points in the 47. Can any one tell me how or if it be made to work in the 47
