Stickler Posted December 27, 2024 Posted December 27, 2024 Through some trial and error I finally found an easy workaround for two of the biggest issues currently affecting the in-game bombing calculator. In the DIRECT and DT tabs, setting, for example, a "dive angle" of 10° provides a bomb range and TOF that actually corresponds to a 10° Loft. Since the tool will not accept a "-10" entry, it is not normally possible to calculate the bomb range and TOF for actual dive releases. Workaround: Copy and paste a "-10" from outside the game into the tool to obtain the correct values. Conversely, in the DT tab, for a 10° dive, "10" needs to be entered to obtain the correct drag coefficient, for a 10° loft, "-10" needs to be entered to obtain the correct drag coefficient. Looks like simple sign errors to me which are probably easy to fix. 1
