Hi, Mitor. Do the following:

  1. Make an Exclusion on the whole DCS root folder on your anti virus, including windows defender.
  2. Do a repair.

Usual path for files and folder exclusion management (windows 11 in english):

  1. Search for "windows security" in the search bar
  2. Virus & Threat Protection
  3. At 'Virus & Threat Protection Settings', click on 'manage settings'
  4. Bottom of the page click on 'add or remove exclusions'
  5. Add the whole DCS root Folder.

You should save this as a template. 😊

After you have setup the correct exclusion rules for your specific Antivirus program you need to also unquarantine the deleted DLL file. Or get it back via running a DCS Repair or Steam File Integrity Check.

So far it worked for every user. And whenever there was an issue it was the user typically missing one of the steps. So kindly double check that you followed all the steps and if you still cannot get it working please share some screenshots of how you did the steps, so we can point you at what might be missing 🙂

I tried, but didn't work so far. I unistalled F-4 then installed it again and I get the error Message "access denied (see picture attached) and also see the settings of the firewalls. I even tried it with fire walls off.

What kind of AntiVir program are you using? Dont forget to add the exclusions for Windows Defender. Looks sth like this (Windows 10):

Also, after you are done with the exclusions you need to run a DCS Repair to get the deleted file back.

Did all the topics, you suggested and now its working again. I think, the importand thing, was, after setting the firewalls in the right way, to restart the whole system.
Thanks for your help - the F-4 is flying again...!!!! Over and out

Was still having this issue and was going through others posting to find the one about the core mod F4 folder. After failed attempts, I went and excluded every F4 folder since just doing it to the DCS folder wasn't enough.  After I added the Coremod F4 folder to the list and ran a repair again. It all finally worked. I was about scream at Heatblur and DCS that this is nuts. The game restarted with no authentication notices and could get on multi-player to select the F4. Only part that really sucked was spent all that time and now have to goto bed. I do thank all of you for posting fixes to try.
