GPatricks Posted January 7 Posted January 7 Is it still necessary to run Varjo Foveated in DCS anymore, or is there a built-in Quad-View and Eye tracking? In the past not running Varjo FR you suffered a frame rate loss and visual degradation. I have been doing some tests, and with my Mbuccia Varjo Foveated API disabled and Quad View and Eye tracking enabled I am getting the same FPS as with it enabled (and DCS Eye tracking disabled). Visually it looks about the same to me but maybe i'm missing something (like good eyesight).. Brainfreeze Posted January 7 Posted January 7 I use the registry key hack that varjo provided for foveated rendering... you do not need it but it gives me quite a big performance boost (think the high quality rendered area is smaller than the wide version by stock DCS i9 14900K / 64GB / RTX 4090 / Varjo Aero / Winwing Orion2 + F15EX / Virpil Wrbrd + Alpha Stick + ACE pedals
