zlorax Posted January 8 Posted January 8 Good day aviators, Question; As of to day my G2 has stopped working? There was some stuff about support, but if I had Steam VR there's no problem. I use VR for flying the A10C and F/A18C. Is there something I can do to bring the G2 back to live or do I need a lot of money for a new one? Greetings, Ben Thanks for the help.
Phantom711 Posted January 8 Posted January 8 With Win11 24H2 Microsoft gas dropped support for Windows Mixed Reality. So if you are on Win11 and have updated to that Windows version just recently, then that‘s it. You could try to roll back to before the update if your PC (or you yourself deliberately) has made backups. Or you could install Win10 either alternatively or as a dual boot system. If it‘s not Win11, then I can not tell from the given information what the cause of your problem might be. vor 2 Stunden schrieb zlorax: but if I had Steam VR there's no problem. No…this is not the case, because the G2 always needs Windows Mixed Reality to run VR. vCVW-17 is looking for Hornet and Tomcat pilots and RIOs. Join the vCVW-17 Discord.

The Reverb is end of life, so you should start planning a replacement anyway. Even if you go back to Windows 10 or Windows 11 23H2, you will stop getting security fixes for those versions of Windows at the end of the year. It's not safe to run a Windows version that doesn't get security fixes anymore. Edited January 9 by Aapje
zlorax Posted January 9 Author Posted January 9 Thanks for the help guys. I have to look for other VR glasses. There are a lot of glasses in the market, will have to search and look witch one suits me best. Thanks again, Ben
Aapje Posted January 9 Posted January 9 The Quest 3 and Crystal Light are the best value headsets for simming right now. I suggest you first take a look at those.
