I initially thot this was a bug, but no so sure

Step 1 of Take off tutorial

  • Tail wheel button unlit, helo not spinning.

Step 2

  • Tail wheel button unlit, helo not spinning.
  • Click Unlock tail wheel, helo starts spinning, attempted redeployment by clicking on the lock/unlock the buttons stays lit, indicating no status change, the EUFD however toggles between lock and unlock, helo still spinning.

Tried again, but this time reduced power and collective, now everything seems to be working as it should.

When the tail wheel is unlocked and want to lock again. You press tail wheel lock and roll the helicopter a few inches forward on the ground. Then it should work. @LaLa

You rarely ever want to reduce the power levers; keep them on FLY, unless shutting down the aircraft.

Use the anti-torque pedals to balance out the thrust of the tail rotor when the tail wheel is unlocked.

Like Corbu1 said,  the wheel won't actually lock into position again until it is centered, like after you have started rolling forward in a straight line.
