I am trying to map my communications commands in Voice Attack. Is there any resource to provide me with the communication options for the F-16 without having to follow them in in progress?

Why don't you take a look at VAICOM, a free plugin for VoiceAttack, that have all the radio commands already made? 😉

Cheers!

The comms menus are context dependent and so what you are requesting cannot be done without modifying the underlying comms code. As an example, the default comms menu will show the available ATCs in an order that depends on your position on the map (closest ATC's first, if I recall correctly). And so the function key sequence to call, Batumi, for example, will change while you are flying.

VAICOM version 1 worked by having VoiceAttack manipulate the comms menu as you propose. But that couldn't work without a mod to replace the default comms menus with ones that were not context dependent. And that mod had to be frequently updated when DCS changed the underlying code, added new maps or modules, etc. I was involved in those efforts. In the end VAICOM PRO was developed that lets you bypass the menus altogether because it communicates with DCS via a plugin rather than by emulating key presses. Check it out. It used to cost a small amount but now is free.

You might also look at Bailey's VoiceAttack profiles for VoiceAttack. I haven't experimented with those, but they might do what you are attempting to do via some other means. See

Thank you all for your feedback! I did create some simple voice commands to use regular spoken commands to get away from just using Fkeys, I have also downloaded JanJan plugin and it seems to work fairly well, still testing. I will also look at Viacom and Bailey's as well!

Thanks so much!
