Muas Posted January 30 Posted January 30 I wonder if anybody is facing this issue: I can't delete the profiles I created, either key binds or vibration profiles. I delete them but they stay on the list. Vibration profiles, every time I edit something, another profile is automatically created with a new serial number, if I try to delete the previous ones, they just don't disappear from the list. I believe it's because they get backed up at the cloud, but how can I delete them from there? I have like 3 or 4 pages of useless profiles on the UI... Got a ticket at Winwing, but no answer so far, any ideas?
MustangSally Posted January 30 Posted January 30 (edited) Winwing is in China, you have to wait another 3 or so hours before you get a response. Also understand that they are on a National Holiday. As far as the profiles are concerned, I don't use them and prefer to bind in game. Much easier and I have the ability to save the profile locally Edited January 30 by MustangSally Ryzen 9 7950X3D - MSI MAG X670E TomaHawk MB, ASUS ROG Ryujin III 360 AIO 64gig Corsair DDR5@6000, Gigabyte GeForce RTX 4090 AORUS Winwing Super Taurus, Orion2, TO / Combat panels, Collective with Topgun MIP Winwing Skywalker pedals, NLR Boeing Mil Edition Simpit, 55" Samsung Odyssey Ark, Trackir

It was the vibration profiles that got me to notice this. I ended up understanding how to tweak the shaker effect curves to my liking, but got 4 pages of useless profiles during the process... not really a big issue, but I would like to understand what is going on, that's it.
Muas Posted February 11 Author Posted February 11 (edited) I managed to sort out in what circumstances I'm not able to delete keybind profiles and vibration profiles. If I download profiles, either keybinds or vibration profiles, I'm able to delete them. If I create a keybind profile myself (creating from game), these, they cannot be deleted. Also the vibration profiles, after I create one, or if I download and edit the settings, then it become undeletable. So the problem happens with user created files. The shared ones that can be downloaded, these can be deleted. The easiest way to replicate this behaviour is to download a vibration file, edit some setting, then save. After this, the "delete" option doesn't work anymore. If this is intentional, I don't understand the rationale. We end up with the UI cluttered with loads of useless profiles. Can anybody confirm this is the normal behaviour of the software? Thank you. Edited February 11 by Muas
