Hi, I can't see the helper for new ground deck crew directly on the plane director guiding me.

The helper appears in the sea and moves outside of the deck.

Hi guys, here's a short track.

You can see that, after salute, the marker appeared and disappeared outside the deck, on the very left of the crew member who was gesturing.

Thanks for your attention to the issue.

Hi @Saruman, when I replayed your track, I did not encounter any issue with the helper. Do you use any mods? If so, please remove them. Can you please try a full repair? Let me know if it helped.

Hi,

thanks again for feedback and sorry for this late answer, but I was busy building a new PC (not because of this issue, of course 😃 I was planning to build a new PC since a long time).

Now, even on new build (therefore, with a fresh DCS installation and without any mod of any kind) I can reproduce the issue but this time I debugged it.

It depends on multimonitor settings.

If I use only one screen, I can see the marker on the correct ground crew. If I enable my custom .lua files to enable my second monitor, the marker is shifted on the left towards the second monitor (which is on the left on my desk) of a corresponding amount of pixels addressed in my custom .lua files.

Here's my .luas attached.

Hi @Saruman unfortunately I have only one monitor. I will ask the team who got two or more to replicate the issue.

Hi, for record, problem disappeared when I moved (in Windows, not physically) my small secondary monitor to the right of the main big one and reconfigured my multi-monitor settings.

In short, marker is affected by the main monitor not being the leftish one. Marker will ignore that main view starts with an offset on screen's 'x' axis and will always render starting from x=0 position.

Pretty odd, since every other element will be rendered on main screen in full respect of the offset.

There have been a number of people with a multi-screen setup that have had assorted issues over the years when the "main" DCS monitor wasn't the top left one in Windows.  Generally a good idea for DCS to put it top and left.
