Friends, we have found a small issue with the AI ship behavior.
In Mission 2, when you need to land on the USS Sampson:

Previously, I would activate an AI helicopter far from the ship, which would request landing clearance, causing the ship to lower the safety nets. When you landed, that AI helicopter would then be deactivated. This helped players by eliminating the need to use the radio menu.

Now, the deck safety nets only lower if the helicopter that requested landing is within approximately 1 nautical mile of the ship. You need to contact the Arleigh Burke via the radio menu and request landing. They will only lower the safety nets if you have the Supercarrier package. These are ED's rules, as the Arleigh Burke is part of the package.
I am currently testing all missions related to deck landing operations to understand the issue and try to come up with an alternative solution.

I tested all types of destroyers and frigates. This issue only affects the Arleigh Burke—on this ship, the safety nets do not lower at the moment of the landing request but much later, when the AI helicopter is 1.5 miles away. The Arleigh Burke is part of the Supercarrier package and does not allow the player to land unless they own the Supercarrier module. Despite this, I included the Arleigh Burke in my missions, and with this simple AI helicopter workaround, players were still able to land.
