Since the last update my dedicated server will run for a while, but then the windows firewall seems to close the port (10308) or at least it becomes unresponsive from outside. (via CanYouSeeMe)  Restarting the DCS server fixes it for a time, but it still 'shuts down' after a while.   I've verified the Windows services are still running and there is nothing of note in the event viewer.  The server seems to be running, and I can connect to it from inside the LAN.....  Been running this server for about a year, this issue only started on the last DCS update. Anyone have any thoughts?

Update:  The DCS Server runs for exactly 20 minutes before it stops listening on external 10308... but I can still connect from within the LAN  (All Firewalls and security turned off)   Restarting the DCS server resets the clock.

Your symptoms sound as if your router may be the culprit. AFAIK, DCS can set up port forwarding in your router automatically via UPnP. If, however, your router has a timeout for UPnP-based forwardings and DCS does not renew these periodically, the port forwardings will expire after a timeout. As the forwardings only affect external connections, LAN connections will still work.

Turns out that a complete uninstall and re-install of the server cleared it up.  A slow repair didn't have any effect, but completely clearing out the file structures and installing DCS fresh did the trick....  Never touched the port forwarding or router/firewall.  🤷‍♂️
