SrSosio Posted February 25 Posted February 25 So for some reason (if anyone would be so kind to explain it, I'd appreciate it), to switch between idle and off, we have to either assign a button for idle and a different one for off, or if you want to assign the same button, you need to hold it to keep it in off, otherwise it moves back to idle. Why isn't like the APU cover, for instance, that you click once and it opens, and you click again and it closes?
ShuRugal Posted February 28 Posted February 28 the idle/off function is meant for throttles which have a button press sent when the throttle is all the way 0. I agree that it would be nice to additionally have a toggle button for this function.
SrSosio Posted March 1 Author Posted March 1 I guess that makes sense. I have a diy throttle (737diysim) that doesn't account for that and only has a single click once the throttles passes the idle position. I'll see if I can modify it to keep the limit switch it uses clicked permanently
Antix70 Posted March 3 Posted March 3 You can try selecting the same button, but use the pulldown menu the button assignment creates, and choose "Btn23_Off"
SrSosio Posted March 3 Author Posted March 3 That won't work, because it would go back to off after placing them in idle. It's a limit switch that clicks once you go both from off to idle and viceversa
