I'm not sure, except the stock springs are too light for me. I'm going to buy some heavier springs.

So, i'm thinking the stock springs are the light ones you have. How many springs do you get in the spring kit?

I just bought a WinWing HOTAS Max on April 22, 2025.  I also bought the spring / cam / damper kit at the same time.   The kit comes with 0.8x. 1.0x, and 1.2x springs with the 1.2x being the stiffist.

My Orion 2 joystick base that came with the NC ARC cam and the 1.2x spring installed.   See picture.

The NC ARC cam - NC means no center, and ARC is the new name for what was 2S meaning almost no resistance in center progressing higher to edges.

FYI --- I personally don't like that configuration so I changed it to the softest or lowest tension 0.8x spring and the SC 1S cam where SC means Soft Center, and 1S means linear resistance or same resistance at center as outside edges.  With the low tension on the spring, the centering is very soft but you can tell where it is.

Hope that helps.
