Tensorial_Architect Posted March 20 Posted March 20 (edited) Tried to update DCS today through Steam to the latest Beta and I have multiple programs giving me warnings that the following trojan: Win32/Wacatac.B!ml is embedded in: D:\SteamLibrary\steamapps\common\DCSWorld\Mods\aircraft\F14\bin\F14-HeatblurCommon.dll I assume this is a false positive but thought I would pass it on to BigNewy and the other powers that be. I did submit the file to Microsoft and Trend Micro for analysis which I am awaiting. Edited March 20 by Tensorial_Architect 1 I left this forum on April 30th, 2025 bc I didn't like being censured when I posted perfectly legitimate content. Best wishes fellas!

Added "D:\SteamLibrary\steamapps\common\DCSWorld" in the AV exception for the directory to solve the issue immediately. 1 Spoiler Dell XPS 9730, i9-13900H, DDR5 64GB, Discrete GPU: NVIDIA GeForce RTX 4080, 1+2TB M.2 SSD | Thrustmaster Warthog HOTAS + TPR | TKIR5/TrackClipPro | Total Controls Multi-Function Button Box | Win 11 Pro
Tensorial_Architect Posted March 20 Author Posted March 20 (edited) Roger that. Thanks Archangel for that link. Someone at Trend Micro is up, ... got a detailed signed report saying it is not malware The more interesting question is, Why is this being detected as a trojan? Never had DCS give me a problem before. Edited March 20 by Tensorial_Architect I left this forum on April 30th, 2025 bc I didn't like being censured when I posted perfectly legitimate content.
