in a long mission i made with many sams, i ran out of flares. my pilot, Nikolai Vodkaman, was not invulnerable, so when i saw a white trail of smoke come out of a bmp i ejected, just before my ka50 burst into flames. i watched by character parachute to the ground, and when he landed safely i ended the mission. at debriefing it said my character died. great.

Yes, it's a known bug and it will most likely be fixed with the patch.

It won't make ejecting non-lethal, that's for the patch to do, but this does allow you to revive your pilot.

 

EDIT: Also, good to point out where the file is, but here it is in the case of my install, path would be different depending on where you installed it to: C:\Games\BlackShark\BlackShark\data\scripts\Logbook\Players.lua
