rhoady Posted March 30 Posted March 30 Like the title states, I've now tried to run 2 missions since the last hotfix and both have crashed mid game. Here is my log file, no clue what's wrong here. dcs.log
sleighzy Posted March 30 Posted March 30 The DCS log analyser indicates flie corruption of the mission editor: Config File Corruption Delete Saved Games\DCS.openbeta\MissionEditor and try again. You can backup this up first if there is anything specific you need from it. There are also a lot of plug/unplug events for your usb devices. Check that this is disabled in DCS. If it is then you might want to look at a powered usb hub or disabling your power management for usb controllers in Windows Device Manager. Hot plug Events Disable hot plug in your CONTROLS section. You have tons of mods. If the Mission Editor rename fails then remove all the custom mods and run a slow repair of the game and try again. Additional performance advice from the log analyzer: Turn off SSLR. Set Water to Medium or Low. Enable Full Screen mode. If you have FPS issues, try turning off VSYNC in graphics settings. Remove the OH6GunnerExport script for performance reasons. (this is known to cause stutters in multiplayer with a large number of units) Turn down Anisotropic Filtering. Set Shadows to Medium. Turn off SSAO. SSLR and SSAO are a performance hit with not a large amount of benefit. AMD 7800x3D, 4080Super, 64Gb DDR5 RAM, 4Tb NVMe M.2, Quest 2
