Enable Datalink help?

I'm trying to get datalink working (as in, contributed air contacts showing on radar scope and HSD).  Forums and Grim Reapers tutorial no joy, can someone give me a clue?

Setup:  Caucasus mission with air start player red JF-17 and numerous A-50s patrolling nearby.  A-50s have "AWACS -a" in their first waypoint actions.  Numerous blue F-14s, helicopters, and A-10s within 50 miles of A-50s at various altitudes.

On UFC, set COM2 to "199", "NES" and "MAST".  Radio console on left is untouched ("TAKE" not on, mode "TR").

On HSD I see the RWR squares for radar emitting aircraft as normal, but nothing new.

Edit:  I gave myself a computer wingman and it started working.  At first I thought it was because the wingman added "EPLRS" to my waypoint actions, but when I tried with "EPLRS" and no wingman I don't see donated contacts anymore.  

Edit 2:  Online in 4YA Senaki mission I do see donated contacts with COMM2 NES, MAST, 199.  It is working but I'm not sure why it did not work in the offline mission.

i think it MIGHT be the A-50 that is the issue, but i cant say.

Alright, after taking a look at this:

The A-50 and KJ-2000 dont seem to be able to feed target information into the JF-17.
If you select the E-2 or E-3, it seems to work.

I added the miz files with all the different AWACS.
Missions are all identical, only difference is the AWACS.

E-2 and E-3 seems to work fine, 
A-50 and KJ-2000 dont feed info.

@uboats I think this is an ED/Deka issue to fix, looks like the A-50 and KJ-2000 dont have the datalink function.

Wow, thanks Wyvern.  I would have thought Russian was more likely to work.

I hope the US fixes this vulnerability before the first hot war with China.
