Bones1775 Posted April 9 Posted April 9 i recently bought the MIP and was finally able to get it set up in game. Unfortunately, the LCDs and light very seldom sync with the game. i think it has been a total of 3 time over the past day. i have done the lua repair, deleted everything in the export folder and restarted SimAppPro to no avail. it is quite frustrating. when it has worked i exited the mission(the LCDs retained what ever info was on the UFC) and restarted and it no longer synced. the reset lights check box is selected. Anyone have any idea what could be interfering with the syncing?

Anyone have any idea what could be interfering with the syncing?If you mean that the displays are dimmer than in in game, you're out of luck. It's been requested to have it fixed for years. I assume it won't be until we get Vulkan. There are videos in YT that can help with making a mask and brighten it with reshade. Sent from my SM-A536B using Tapatalk

Some apps that use the export.lua can be a little stubborn about the order of the various apps. Do you have any other apps that use it? Sent from my SM-A536B using Tapatalk
Bones1775 Posted April 9 Author Posted April 9 i do but i have tried with and with out them in the export lua. have gone as far as deleting everything in the scripts folder and letting winwing replace their required files. it has worked a few times but it never works o a restart of the game and i can find no rhyme or reason why it worked the few times that it did.
Immune Posted April 20 Posted April 20 I thought I might be the only one with this issue! First off, sorry you have it as well, bud. Mine works great until I die and respawn into a new F-18. Every so often I make it to the third respawn, then the LEDs stop working. In fact I just upgraded and completely built a new computer two weeks ago, so fresh install, fresh configuration, everything clean and new. The only thing remaining the same is the WinWing hardware. Still the LED screen go and stay dark after the first or second respawn. Only after restarting my PC will they come back on...again, until tge next respawn. I went through WinWing support and came up dry a year or so ago to resolve, but have found no solution. Sorry for going all #metoo without a solution...hopefully someone drops a simple and easy fix you and I have just not thought of.
rob10 Posted April 21 Posted April 21 Do you have the option to "SYNC AT STARTUP" or something like that in the F-18 options checked? I want to say there is a "lights" version too (either in DCS or in the SimAppPro software somewhere).
