Aerodynamics changed?

I flew Viggen today after the update and when reaching a speed over 0.8-0.9 I could not pull her up from a dive and crashed into the ground. Not sure if this is accurate or not. But full pull back on the stick would not let her climb at all.

Second try I extended the airbrakes and pulled and around 0.6 it started to climb and the it was back to "normal" and started to hear the "cracking" sound from the wings. Before I could snap the wings at any speed?

But don't see any updates on this in the change logs.

Never mind. I don't know what happened but now it is back as it used to be?

Alt+tab and forgot to activate DCS with mouse click perhaps? Been there myself

This very  phenomenon happened to me just a few minutes ago, same speed range, maybe even a tad slower... At those speeds it only pulls up to 2-2.5 G maximum (stick all the way back), then as the speed decays the pitch rate and load factor increase again. I'll let you imagine how fun it is when you're flying slot in a 4ship doing aerobatics...

If you were "over 0.8-0.9" (e.g. M0.92) you could have probably reached the "uttagbar lastfactor" of 3.8g.
Do you have a track to review your exact airspeed?

You would not fly a fourship aerobatic with M0.92, more M0.4 to M0.7 ish.

Never said I was flying aero at 0.92, Snuten reported over 0.8-0.9 and I said even slower.

If it starts to climb around 0.6, and by that I assume it goes past 2ish G in load factor, that's right in the middle of your 0.4-0.7 ballpark.

Might just be me, but 2-2.5G feels way too lenient for a (strike) fighter at that speed with the stick buried in your crotch, and personally I don't recall the Viggen behaving like that before.

@Snuten and @arkady86: You guys have no tracks to look at?

If you can't provide them, please try to reproduce the issue on a clean mission file on Caucasus. I would then take the time to analyze them.

Still haven't been able to reproduce the issue reliably and get it on a track, HOWEVER!

There is a possibility for this weird behaviour to be linked to a joystick momentarily disconnecting (losing power, imagine a loose USB cable), in the sense that when the stick gets reconnected and DCS sees it again (might be just a fraction of a second, mind you), it goes back to working (and both the in-cockpit stick and axis bars in the controls menu move normally) but the simulator somehow filters / ignores part of that input.

I'm still keeping my eye on it and will send you a track as soon as I get something even remotely reliable, thanks again!
