Buzzer1977 Posted April 27 Posted April 27 This loadout will block the gun, Sidewinders and Sparrows. (See included miz file BLUE-DODGE-4-1 to demostrate the bug. For reference a simpler loadout on BLUE-DODGE-4-2 works fine) Haven't yet tried to fire the Shrike, Maverick or FFARs. I'm not sure if it's a weapon systems bug, or just a bug in the mission editor allowing a invalid loadout. Zabuzard Posted 10 hours ago Posted 10 hours ago What exactly do you mean by "blocks"?You cant select the weapons anymore or they dont appear visually?If latter, only in the mission editor preview or also in-game?The mission-editor preview is fully ED controlled and hence sometimes differs from what it will actually look like in-game. If it works in-game, it would likely be sth for ED to look into.

You can load it on the aircraft, it's all shown on the aircraft, you can select it from the cockpit, but you can't fire the guns, Jester can't lock on the target ("no can do") when the AIM-7 is selected and you can't fire the AIM-7 nor the AIM-9. I've added stripped down sample mission. Update: As soon as you remove the maverick it all works ... A guess based on what you are describing and the setup of the mission that you provided, is that you are leaving the weapon selector knob in TV mode which inhibits all air-to-air munitions release. The trigger is used for the Maverick in this mode. When you air-start with a Maverick, the Weapon Selector starts in the TV mode so that the Gyros in the Mav are spun up and ready to go.
