EchoOneOne Posted Tuesday at 10:08 AM Posted Tuesday at 10:08 AM Even though the flight manual and maintaince manual do not require it, most of squadron's SOPs and checklists require this state. I would like the devteam to consider this change, because it would really add a realistic feel to this simulator. ENG FEED: OFF EPU: OFF C&I: BACK UP ANTI-COLL: OFF MASTER COVERT: OFF FORM: OFF AERIAL REFUELING: OFF All AUDIO 1 and AUDIO 2 knobs should be in OFFposition (not including the intercom knob) RF: Silent VV/VAH: OFF ATT/FPM: OFF ALT RADAR: AUTO All lightning knobs should be in OFF position AIR SOURCE: OFF OXY SUPPLY: OFF ANTI-ICE: OFF 2 "Once a dragon always a dragon"
Hofftari Posted Tuesday at 10:16 AM Posted Tuesday at 10:16 AM Or maybe add a new state > "Extra cold" , where all switches that you listed are in the off position. Same goes for the A-10 for example. Generators, boost pumps etc are all turned on in a cold A-10. 1 Proud member of Master Arms, a Swedish DCS community

This is not about "extra off", they simply need to be turned off for certain reasons, mostly because of MX safety. 1 "Once a dragon always a dragon"
Hofftari Posted Tuesday at 10:38 AM Posted Tuesday at 10:38 AM You do realise this is still a virtual game/simulator and not a real airplane? Proud member of Master Arms, a Swedish DCS community

You do realize that many people use this simulator for serious flying where checks matter? In that case I don't know why FF aircrafts are developed. 1 "Once a dragon always a dragon"
Hofftari Posted Tuesday at 10:53 AM Posted Tuesday at 10:53 AM Yes, that's why I suggested an "extra cold" feature for all aircrafts so both more casual players and more serious ones have a good time. Proud member of Master Arms, a Swedish DCS community
