MnMailman Posted Tuesday at 11:21 PM Posted Tuesday at 11:21 PM Is there a way to have this always visible?
theRealTrickFlare Posted Tuesday at 11:46 PM Posted Tuesday at 11:46 PM Not sure what you mean.. By default [Left Shift] +[P] will hide and unhide the pilot body in first person view. Right now, looking over the shoulder the pilot body has no head/helmet, just an Ichabod Crane looking hole where it should be.
XpRiV Posted Wednesday at 09:06 AM Posted Wednesday at 09:06 AM Try moving your view forward a bit, LCtrl, LShift + * on the numpad i think. ASUS TUF Gaming B760M PLUS WiFi - i7-14700KF - Zotac RTX 4080 Super - 64GB DDR5 - 4TB M.2 SSD - Thrustmaster Warthog - Samsung G5

Unfortunately moving the view doesn't change anything, but thanks for the reply. Starting to look like the answer to my question is "no", which is unfortunate. Extremely silly seeing a headless pilot body. Edited Wednesday at 01:17 PM by MnMailman
XpRiV Posted Wednesday at 02:01 PM Posted Wednesday at 02:01 PM No worries, sorry it didnt work. I only though about it as I did this in the Apache to remove the pilot head when I turned to the side. theRealTrickFlare Posted Wednesday at 04:19 PM Posted Wednesday at 04:19 PM You need to adjust the camera boundaries. Tuuvas has a great video and easy to install download on user files to adjust this. The head is always rendered. But without these adjustments it will be "clipping" with the camera making it appear headless. Good luck, hope this helps. The video I've attached shows what I mean; interestingly, as you can see the helmet does appear if I look back and up. But otherwise, the neck hole is all seen. I'd like the helmet to be always visible, including in these examples, not just when I look back and up. However, maybe if I edit the files from the video you posted, the helmet will also appear in these cases. Thanks for the tip. I don't use vr, use trackir but might as well try experimenting.
