Morning, I have spotted a couple of issues in cockpit since 2.9 was released. Firstly, the canopy hold open device does a wired jerking movement when operated and then stops when in place and lastly, the Canopy locking handle does the same but continues to do it until you switch to outside view then back to cockpit view, I was also able to stop the effect by looking away just after operating it and looking back when it had locked/opened.

In your screenshots above the empty SE is 4281kg heavier than the empty "C" model, and you have put 4178kg more fuel in the "C" model, so of course they are going to weigh about the same. I think a better way to look at this would be to put max fuel in each and see if the difference in weight would match what the CFT's hold?

You could try setting your FOV to around 90, that'll bring you closer in, as too me, your view is too far back.

I've noticed this too. The helmet visor is a great addition to counter this. I've found that modules and mods that have a dark cockpit/canopy frame (MB339 in particular) always suffer with whiteout while looking through the front of the canopy due to the HDR settings of the sim. Included Screenshots of inside v outside on Syria and Caucasus, it clearly shows the washed out textures while inside.

Good Morning All, Would it be possible to make the canopy frame less Black? With the way HDR works in the sim, the view out the front cockpit is very washed out. Its at the point now where i very rarely take this great little aircraft out the hanger because of this issue

Go to main DCS Directory and delete the DemoMods folder. When you load DCS only Your Paid Modules and any Mods you have will Show up. You have to do this after every update but its not a hardship

With the flight control lock in place, you are still able to move the ailerons, but the elevators are locked and so is the rudder.

I had this issue while using the Freeware MB339 once the payware version was released. I might be barking up the wrong tree, but, if its only happening on servers and not on SP, could it have something to do with the freeware MB339? Maybe there is still remnents of it on the servers maybe. Once i removed the freeware MB339 from my PC, I have never had the issue again. P.S. I don't fly online, totally SP.

This happened to me. the problem was, I hadn't pushed the parking brake all the way in! The jet still moved but brakes didn't work. Pushed on the lever again an all worked fine.

I've just posted about this in another thread, but this is exactly what is happening with mine too. It makes flying looking forward really bad as everything is so bright! Can this be disabled somehow?
