Recluse Posted Tuesday at 02:56 PM Posted Tuesday at 02:56 PM (edited) Recently noticed the "Neutral (takeoff) trim in pitch, roll and yaw indicator lamp" Just wondering how it is best used in flight. I can sort of guess from the name but noticed the lights going on and off in normal flight and wondered how to interpret them. null Edited Tuesday at 02:57 PM by Recluse
Solution virgo47 Posted Tuesday at 03:39 PM Solution Posted Tuesday at 03:39 PM That just tells you the trim is neutral - not that this is the right trim for current moment in flight. It's only good when you want to reset trim - that is, to find the neutral position. Some modules even have a trim reset function, which is not always present in the real plane. So it's a kind of "assistant" (or cheat, if someone insists ). Su-25T does not have this action - or at least not available in provided bindings. 1 L-39, F-4E, F-5E, F-14, F/A-18C, MiG-15, F-86F, AJS-37, C-101, FC2024 Yak-52, P-47, Spitfire, CE2 UH-1H, Mi-8, Ka-50 III, SA342 NTTR, PG, SY, Chnl, Norm2, Kola, DE Supercarrier, NS430, WWII, CA VKB STECS+Gladiator/Kosmosima+TPR DCS Unscripted YouTube "Favourite" bugs: 1) gates not growing regress (FIXED 2025-03 ), 2) L-39 target size cockpit animation regress (FIXED 2025-02), 3) Yak-52 toggles not toggling, 4) all Caucasus ATC bugs
