Disappointing response from ED

Я знаю что это вряд ли повлияет на ваше решение, но у меня нету ни друзей ни родственников ни кого либо другого в Польше. Похоже каким то образом мой серийный ключ был взломан/украден.

 

Я скорей всего приобрету лицензию заново чтоб избежать дальнейших проблем/дебатов с вами. Надеюсь что $ уйдут именно программистам/разработчикам а не левым посредникам. Опять таки спасибо за ваше время.

I definitely do not have any Friends or Relatives in Poland, so it appears that the serial key was either generated or otherwise stolen/hijacked. Now that Andrey was kind enough to show the logs, I understand that it was indeed based on facts and not some sort of "random denial". I will buy another license and hope that the $ goes to the developers more than the distributor or anyone else.

 

Thank you for sharing your comments on this subject and it appears like it is quite a sensitive one, I hope it allows others to resolve or prevent future issues.

Good when you know a lot of languages :)

 

And it's bad when there are wrong decisions made about copy protection :) (no, I don't want to start any new discussion about that subject and flame around, sorry, just couldn't resist).

 

I don't know russian very well, but I fluently read cyrylic (learned that at school years ago). And in most places I can get idea what's going on (polish, my native is slavic as well). The only drawback is that I have to keep my windows with russian code page (for starforce DVD reactivation window once a week). Besides there is language trick in russian version :)
