Cyb0rg Posted August 20, 2009 Posted August 20, 2009 Already noted the hidden true/false thing.. used myself as a briefing "tool" for online missions. :D Now the lat/long vs x/y... that's smart! :smartass: [sIGPIC][/sIGPIC] Asteroids ____________________________________________ Update this :D
Scooternutz Posted July 21, 2010 Posted July 21, 2010 Interesting smart thing but I ask myself if the community, as a whole, will benefit in any way from non-editable missions. Wouldn't be more efficient, from the point of view of learn how to use the editor and/or make better versions of others missions, to left them open? Hello all, Any mission I put on the 16th Server will not be protected so copy and modify at will. Have fun with it! ZaltysZ Posted July 21, 2010 Posted July 21, 2010 1) If you destroy ME coordinates for SP mission, pre flight planer will show weird plan. 2) If you have ME coordinates destroyed, but coordinates of game engine are ok, you can recalculate coordinates for ME. Simple utility doing this automatically will destroy this as mean of protection. Wir sehen uns in Walhalla.

Simple utility doing this automatically will destroy this as mean of protection. Thinking that I should perhaps reinstall a C++ compiler, write a little program, and render this "copy protection" scheme null. But another part of me, as a fellow mission designer, respects the will of people to not have their missions tampered with. Yet I think that more people will be interested in a mission that is NOT copy protected. Intelligent discourse can only begin with the honest admission of your own fallibility.
