Hollywood1-1 Posted June 15 Posted June 15 Hello, I was successful in making my livery but every time I install it there’s a missing texture text and dark grey blocks on one side of my aircraft I can see the livery but I’m wondering where I’m going wrong. I used notepad ++ for the lua file and didn’t touch anything in there except changing the name at the bottom. And I used gimp to do the editing. I merged all of the layers and exported it to a dds file and then pasted the livery file into my saved games livery folder but no matter what I do or change it still has texture issues. Please help
Tholozor Posted June 15 Posted June 15 Looks like either the normal map or roughmet textures in the description have a typo. Tholozor Posted June 15 Posted June 15 (edited) Correct, check the description.lua and ensure the filenames match. Hollywood1-1 Posted June 18 Author Posted June 18 I figured it out, it was the lua file. How I ended up fixing it was making my own file off of the template here on the DCS website. And then I exported it all and re did the livery now it works perfectly fine. Thank you!!
