motoadve Posted June 20 Posted June 20 (edited) A major disappointment for me is with the damage model, its very simple compared to ED's warbirds, not in the same league at all. Lowers the DCS category to the level of the competition, I know its early access, not too sure it will be updated to ED's warbirds standards though, since the IL16 have had a simple DM for years. Hope the LA7 also does not come with a simple DM as well. Question for M3, Will the DM of the Corsair be improved? By the way, I am enjoying the FM a lot, to me feels extremely good, very realistic, I have a Virpil with extension and Rhino FFB, short joystick might need curves and saturation ,congrats on the FM Edited June 20 by motoadve 5
-Rudel- Posted June 20 Posted June 20 The Corsair is not using EDs new damage model system. It is still in testing. Once ED are happy with their result, jets will get it....afterwards, 3rd parties 3 4 https://magnitude-3.com/ https://www.facebook.com/magnitude3llc https://www.youtube.com/@magnitude_3 i9 13900K, 128GB RAM, RTX 4090, Win10Pro, 2 x 2TB SSD, 1 x 15TB SSD U.2 i9 10980XE, 128GB RAM, RTX 3090Ti, Win10 Pro, 2 x 256GB SSD, 4 x 512GB SSD RAID 0, 6 x 4TB HDD RAID 6, 9361-8i RAID Controller i7 4960X, 64GB RAM, GTX Titan X Black, Win10 Pro, 512GB PCIe SSD, 2 x 256GB SSD
motoadve Posted June 22 Author Posted June 22 Some stuff is better than EDs warbirds. Canopy open drag effect is there, all of Eds warbirds you can fly with canopy open and no drag Damage model of surfaces adds drag, hole in the wing, makes it slower and plane wants to veer to that side, it adds drag, feels more realistic than EDs warbirds in that department where you can see your wing full of holes and it dos not add drag . 1
