Okay seriously, I am following about every video tutorial I can find, following the steps of cold start, warming the engine etc.
I just loaded up my F4U with two Tiny TIms, 50% fuel, think the weight is about 96% which is heavy, I know. But even though the startup trim helps me get the Corsair into the air ... it will never get over 100 mph ... maybe 110 max ... I cannot climb, I can barely keep it in the air and at some point I just hit some random house or tree because I am just skimming the ground.
I really feel that the engine is just not giving any pull at all ...
It' s like I am missing one tiny detail ...

F4U and how I cannot fly.trk

Are you setting the rpm via an axis control you have? If you are, try setting max rpm via mouse instead. There’s a huge difference I noticed. I found that fix from someone else when trying to figure out why I couldn’t get off the boat lol

If you're using an axis for RPM you need to make sure it's set to slider, otherwise that can cause issues with setting it correctly.

I have this problem anytime the speed is below approx 120. IT is as if I am short of power but prop rpm is 2600 and good manifold pressure. It does just not gain speed in level flight.
