Jack Chief Posted June 22 Posted June 22 So far I enjoy the campaign. Easy mission, very good for beginners, relaxing for veterans. I like the idea for synth music and radio idea after the mission is completed A bit arcade but it fits very well into overall vibe of the campaign. It is not as focused on simulation and realism as Reflected campaigns. But is a good thing. People now can choose. Not to the not so fun part. Mission 3 keeps crashing after the radio comms that bombers shot the missiles. After a minute or so DCS crash. I had it twice. I will not fly one more time 180 nm to test it again. The "request bogey dope command triggered by space is also not working"
Cyking Posted June 22 Posted June 22 Hey @Jack Chief, thank you for your Feedback. You are right, my campaign is definitely less hardcore Sim, but that was the whole idea of it. But now to the important stuff, crash Mission 3? My last test about a week ago before release was good, so no idea what is happening. And that described moment nothing really special is happening. You do not have a dcs.log of the crash? And it just crashed to desktop? No error message or sth? DISCORD - YOUTUBE - INSTAGRAM
Valetha Posted Sunday at 11:54 PM Posted Sunday at 11:54 PM Same for me, same place after intercepting the backfires. 'Normal' crashes with the DCS crash screen, logs attached dcs.log.old dcs.log

Cyking Posted Monday at 03:16 PM Posted Monday at 03:16 PM thank your for that, right now I have no idea why the crash happens, usually the miz itself does not make dcs crash and there are not that many units active … Unfortunately the launch of the campaign came with my holiday and I will be back on my pc on Wednesday. Some testers already try to replicate the issue, I need to wait for their results. I am sorry for everyone who occurs the issue, I will keep you all updated. Meanwhile you have to skip the mission. And please keep posting your logs / tracks if a crash for you happens. DISCORD - YOUTUBE - INSTAGRAM
Cyking Posted Wednesday at 12:19 PM Posted Wednesday at 12:19 PM Hey guys, Just a quick update: I'm back from vacation and tested the mission today. Unfortunately, I can confirm that it crashes for me as well, and honestly, I'm a bit at a loss as to what might be causing it. I've already reached out to ED for support—maybe it's a DCS-related issue rather than something caused by the mission itself. I'll also put together a more stripped-down test version of the mission to help narrow down the root cause. @Jack Chief I also checked the "Spacebar for Bogey Dope" function. It worked fine on my end. Did you try pressing it a second or third time after not getting a response initially? Sorry for the inconvenience—I'm actively working on getting it fixed as soon as possible. 1 DISCORD - YOUTUBE - INSTAGRAM
Cyking Posted yesterday at 06:29 PM Posted yesterday at 06:29 PM (edited) Hey Gents, Good news: I was able to narrow down the CTD. I'm still not 100% sure what causes it, but I managed to implement a temporary fix that prevents the mission from crashing. It seems that the issue is related to the carrier group’s self-defense behavior. After disabling it, the mission no longer crashes. I've sent the mission to ED for further investigation. Long story short: with the next patch, the mission should no longer crash for you guys. The downside is that, for now, the carrier group won’t defend itself until a final fix is found. However, this has no impact on your actual mission experience. Edited yesterday at 06:38 PM by Cyking 1 DISCORD - YOUTUBE - INSTAGRAM
