Honez Posted June 30 Posted June 30 (edited) Hi DCS Dev Team, We’d love to see an option that allows us to adjust the visual appearance of the sea state independently from the wind settings. Right now, the only way to get rougher seas is by cranking up the wind, which often creates unrealistic environmental conditions just to achieve a certain ocean look. If you could implement a “Sea State Picker”, similar to how we can select cloud presets, it would add a lot to mission immersion and scenario flexibility. As a former Navy guy, I can tell you there are plenty of situations where seas can be rough due to distant storms or swells while the local winds remain light — and it would be fantastic if DCS could capture that nuance. I believe this would be a widely appreciated quality-of-life improvement for the community and enhance the realism we’re all chasing. Thanks for considering it, and for all the hard work you put into making DCS what it is! Much appreciated, Edited June 30 by Honez 5
