enigmatics Posted August 11, 2009 Posted August 11, 2009 In several of the training missions the cursor movement goes below the screen edge when using a 16:10 aspect ratio. I am assuming this is because the training tracks were recorded on a computer with a 4:3 display. Is there a way to override the training tracks' zoom level in order to see the hidden cockpit interaction? Here's a little graphic I whipped up to help describe what I'm getting at. Any gauge or switch in the blue area that happens to be referenced by the training mission is off the screen and the in-game cursor gets stuck at the edge of screen.
enigmatics Posted August 14, 2009 Author Posted August 14, 2009 Been out of town a couple days.. still no ideas on ways to get around this.
Panzertard Posted August 14, 2009 Posted August 14, 2009 Yes, I've noticed this too - I use an aspect ratio of 16:10 myself. Only thing I can think of is to enforce aspect of 4:3 whn you set up your options. But fresh pilots wont understand this anyway, only people who have played around with the Sim a bit (or the files for that sake). The mind is like a parachute. It only works when it's open | The important thing is not to stop questioning
